Terms and Conditions

  • One entry per person
  • The Promoter of this competition is Wanderlust Travel Media.
  • The Provider of this competition prize is Audley Travel
  • The closing date for entries is August 31, 2020. Entries after this date will not be valid.
  • The prize includes 2 x return international tickets from London Heathrow to Bangkok with up to 2 x domestic return tickets within Thailand (including all flight taxes) In addition, the winner will receive £2,000 of vouchers with which to book the Responsible Thailand holiday of their choice. 

  • The Prize will be valid from 1 December 2020 until 30 November 2021 and excludes travel during any UK or Thailand public holidays.

  • The prize does not include UK Domestic flights or travel to and from the competition winners’ home to London Heathrow.
  • It is the responsibility of the winner/s to ensure they have a valid passport and obtain any necessary vaccinations or applicable visas for their trip. No responsibility will be taken if the winner/s are unable to travel due to insufficient documentation.
  • Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations before travel.
  • Any costs incurred from changes post booking, such as a name change or other amends, are the winner’s responsibility to pay.
  • The winner is responsible for getting to any departure points (for flights etc), in time for security checks and the check-in procedures on the day of departure. Travel costs to airports are at the winner’s own expense.
  • The prize cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative and the vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or spent on any other holiday. This prize is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
  • No purchase necessary.
  • The prize must be taken as stated within the competition terms and conditions and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
  • Entries can only be submitted online via the competition entry on Wanderlust’s website. Entrants must enter a valid name and email address.
  • Entry is free and open to residents of the mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over who submit a valid entry to the competition.
  • The prize promoter cannot accept responsibility for late or lost entries. Entry cannot be accepted if all details are not provided.
  • Incomplete, fraudulent, multiple or spam entries will be disallowed.
  • Only entries submitted following the specified entry mechanics will be deemed valid entries. Any entries which are deemed offensive will be disqualified at the discretion of the Promoter or Provider and no further correspondence will be entered into.
  • No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.
  • Employees of the promoter or provider, all other prize partners, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion, and their families, are excluded from entering this competition.
  • The winner will be chosen at random from those entrants whose entries have reached Wanderlust by the closing date.
  • The Promoter will select one winner and use reasonable endeavours to contact the winner using the contact details supplied upon entry within one month of the competition closing.
  • The winner will be contacted by email or phone and details will be provided via email on how to claim and book the prize Audley Travel. In the event that the prize notification email is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected from all remaining (non-winning) eligible entries. The winner must confirm acceptance in writing of the prize and these terms and conditions within 7 days of being contacted by Wanderlust.
  • Wanderlust's decision regarding selection of winners is final and there will be no further correspondence. The Promoter and provider shall not be responsible should a winner provide incorrect contact details.
  • If for any reason a winner drops out of the prize due to health or personal reasons, the Provider has the right to select another winner at its discretion. The Promoter and Provider do not accept any responsibility if the winner is unable to accept the prize.

  • The Promoter and Provider accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. The Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash.
  • Audley Travel reserve the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize. Should the value of any prize be less than the value stated, the difference will not be awarded in cash or in kind.
  • The Promoter, prize Providers and any associated third party accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss and whether or not arising from any person's negligence) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case such liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).

  • In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Promoter or Provider, they reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion at any time and without notice. This also applies to any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation, or if travel would be contrary to UK Foreign Office advice, or if circumstances arise outside of its control that prevent the implementation of the prize.

  • The Promoter and Provider are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion.
  • The Promoter (Wanderlust Travel Media) and Provider (Audley Travel) are based in the UK and the competition will be delivered under the terms of the UK’s laws and regulations.
  • The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity and by entering the competition or prize draw.
  • The Promoter will also use entrants’ personal data for direct marketing purposes where consent has been provided via the opt-in check boxes provided. This includes communications containing news, offers and information. We may also share your personal information, if opt in consent has been given, with third parties, to help manage our business and deliver services. These third parties may include service providers, who perform functions on our behalf such as sending emails, analysis of data, providing marketing assistance. Personal data may be transferred and processed outside of the EU and EEA. You have the right to ask us for more information about the safeguards put in place for transfer of data. You have the right to opt-out at any time, by following the links in the communications to you.

  • The Prize Provider collects contact information about entrants in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate award prizes and may also use the information to assist the Provider in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers via any medium including mail and commercial electronic messages.
